KYC Documents Checklist

The following documents are required for all company members including Directors, Shareholders, and Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs)

Personal Documents

  • Proof of identity (notarized passport/government issued ID Card)
  • Proof of residential address (notarized bank statement, utility bill, tenancy agreement,..etc)
  • Contact information (email address and phone number)
  • Description on business activities (company website, key services/products, target clients,..etc)

NOTE:

  1. The address proof must show the holder’s full name and residential physical address clearly written in English (P.O. Box addresses are not accepted). And it must be the latest version, issued within the latest 3 months.
  2. The compliance officers may require for additional documents for verification purposes depending on a case by case basis

If your business has corporate shareholder in its structure, it is essential to provide such company documents and proofs of business owners as follows:

Company documents

The certified true copies of the following corporate documents are required to submit:

  • Certificate of Incorporation / Certificate of Formation
  • Memorandum and Articles of Association / Constitution / Operating Agreement
  • Company Structure Confirmation (Register of Directors, Register of Shareholders and Register of UBOs)
  • Extract of the company’s details from the Registrar of Companies, which can be the Certificate of Incumbency or Certificate of Good standing (valid for within 6 months if any).
  • Describe on the business activities (website, business nature, company brochure and major of operating countries)

Company members

All members of the corporation, including Directors, Shareholders, and Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) must provide below documents:

  • Notarized copies of the Passports or Government issued ID Cards
  • Notarized copies of the Address Proofs
  • Contact information (Email and Phone number)
  • Owner’s background information (A comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (C.V.), Resumé, or Linkedin profile)
